Does anyone recall going to the 1968 Isle of Wight music festival and seeing Airplane there?
Or remember when they first heard the album Surrealistic Pillow and how it affected them?
I'm particularly interested to hear people's views, memories etc because I've just had a novel published about the Sixties which has several chapters featuring the band and their impact on the story's four main characters.
Early feedback by friends who are Airplane fans has been very encouraging.
