Fairport Convention

I only recently heard this group for the first time, and wanted to see if anyone else heard their music. If not, differently give them a listen. The female vocalist, Sandy Denny, is among the best voices of the sixties.

A very groovy band, so check it out!

"England's answer to Jefferson Airplane". I can thoroughly recommend "Fairport Convention" and "What We Did On Our Holidays", their first two albums. Later records moved away from rock towards traditional English folk music. (Which I'm not too keen on, having been forced to participate in Country Dancing when I was in primary school.)
