Diana Mangano & Jefferson Starship

Some peeps here might know that I don't dig J S that much....not so much as Grace Slick and the Airplane that's for sure, but if we're talkin' albums like Earth and Windows of Heaven (1999), well, I'm there!! . I just (re)discovered WoH and man, this album kix ass....much more than any of their latest albums because there still was less 'synthesized electronica' in their songs. Just listen to songs like "See the light" ,"Ways of love", "Later on" ......
Diana Mangano is surely no Grace Slick, but I like her voice and her trying to imitate Grace's vocal range...it's obvious she had been listening to lots of JA! . Have any of you got this album? What are your thoughts on JS and Diana Mangano?

Diana has left the band. They have a different lady singing now.

Cathy Richardson is the new lead female vocalist for JS. She previously was with Big Brother. She also has her own band, The Cathy Richardson Band.

Oh yes, I knew Cathy was collaborating with them, but I didn't know she had entered the band.

Yup, just saw Cathy w/ JS a couple of months ago.
She was pretty good.
(Though she did have to cheat and read the lyrics on stage.)
Darby Gould was with them too and Freiberg's wife.
