Boris- "Kuruimizu"

A Japanese metal band with a brilliant (female!) guitarist. It's so great to hear a girl playing guitar who isn't a bullshit singer-songwriter. I want to be just like Wata when I grow up!

Great band...metal is not my favorite genre, but Boris is incredibly varied, with great musicians all around. Their newer material is kind of Motorhead-like, and their older stuff is more experimental. Ambient stuff like Flood, or flatout bizarreness like Amplifier Worship. I <3 Boris! Check them out!
