Yes, CD, you are correct, sir-- BUTTHOLE SURFERS are not only one of my all-time VERY FAVORITES EVER...

BUTT they are also one of THE most PSYCHEDELIC music groups of ALL TIME and that is NO JOKE.

Their music ranges from awful noisy feedback skronk to beautiful intergalactic intensity, and even sensitive emotional genius.

For MY money, their best years were from 1985-1989, before they signed with major-label CAPITOL Records, after which they had several popular "hits"...

BUTT if you can get your ears on some live bootlegs from their early years, the music is nothing short of FANTASTICALLY MIND-BLOWING and INTENSE.
