I don't know if you read the 2400 Fulton St listserv, but that's where I found out. I hoped it wasn't true, too, but Spencer's child posted a reply that confirmed it. :(

I really wish I would have gotten a chance to tell him in person that I really liked his music but I guess thats too late now. Now all I can do is say it in a prayer. I wish that if I did meet him he would be scared of a 21 year old guy making a big deal about his career. He lived a fulfilling life. anyways.........
