But do NOT forget besides JIMI and Mitch Mitchell that Billy Cox was jammin' too!!!

In my opinion, he was Jimi's BEST bass player-- Not to detract from the late, great Noel Redding from the EXPERIENCE-- But it is almost like Jimi and Billy were telepathically linked in sync with one another... They were old Army buddies from WAY before Jimi got famous with the EXPERIENCE...

That footage you showed us is from the "RAINBOW BRIDGE" movie filmed live at The Crater Of The Sun, Olowalu Volcano, 7-30-1970 on Maui HAWAII...
This was Jimi's 2nd-to-last American concert (His last one was in Honolulu the next day, of which no film or recording is known to exist)...

The song is called "Villanova Junction" and was first performed by Jimi's GYPSY SUN & RAINBOW band at WOODSTOCK 8-18-1969...
