RIP Lee Hazelwood

Postby psychhead on Tue Aug 07, 2007 8:04 pm

Legendary songwriter Lee Hazlewood died of cancer on Saturday at the age of 78. He was well known for having written "These boots are made for walkin'" for Nancy Sinatra but also many other songs. Bands like Primal Scream, Metallica have all paid tribute to this great artist somewhere along the line by covering his songs.
RIP Lee.....you are unforgettable.

Agreed, Rob...

Another great is now gone.

I did not even know.

Funny how the media totally ignores important stuff like this but shows us every photo of lindsay or paris or Britney or whoever is today flashin' their non-underwear coochie instead...

Sad and sickening...

(Not that I cannot appreciate an un-underweared coochie)

***AHEM!!!***

Sad isn't it
he was the composer of Summer Wine wasn't he?

our society became Glamour not Great and care only if Madona did this or did that and not about great composers
