Hi,
yesterday on ARTE-TV here in Germany, there was a french documentation called "Turn me on - 1967".
It was about the evolution of hippie-movement.
They showed there an 1-2 minute-take from JA at Monterey.

Wooaaahh !
Super!!!
Balin and Slick singing High flying bird.

I think I must buy a DVD with this stuff on.
The sound was really good, nearly better than on CD, though Mono.
The voices were good in front.
It was amazing to see the band enjoy their performance.

Do anyone knows, what DVD I shall buy ?

P.S.
I am not really shure yet, if it was at Monterey, because it was dark and in the background of the band, their was a TV with psychadelic-color-pictures.
Was it so at Montery ? The picture above shows the band in daylight?
Never argue with a german

I have a question about that CD ever since I saw it. First what songs does it include? Is it just the 8 tracks from the Monterey Pop Festival? And during the festival, I thought the Airplane played at night, not like the picture. Any help??

That is a cheap record company's attempt to use a picture without having to pay royalties.

That photo on the CD cover was NOT taken at Monterey. It was taken at a free concert in the park.
